Thanks for visiting.
My name is Lilly and I'm a bodyboarder from Werri Beach in NSW Australia :)

I am winner of the Australasian Pro Tour in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
I just finished in 7th place on the 2013 IBA World Tour, my dream is to bring the World Title back to Australia!

My main aim is to promote happiness, kindness, healthy living and to always be pushing yourself in some kind of venture. I love travelling, I love good barrelling waves and chasing swells all over the world, and I love the dedication needed to be a good competitor.
I'm always keeping my Facebook athlete page updated with all my adventures, so be sure to 'like' my page to stayed informed: https://www.facebook.com/bodyboarderlillypollard

I'm looking for assistance to help me achieve my dream of becoming world champion, and also showcasing girls charging in waves of consequence. If you think you can help, shoot me an email at: lillypollard81@yahoo.com.au
Many thanks to my current sponsors for their support: Flipmode Clothing, Hive Swimwear, GoPro cameras, Zion Wetsuits, Travel Insurance Direct, BoogerBod training and Treehugger Wax.

2011 tour update :)

Brazil contest was cancelled! :(
So, the next big event on the IBA Womens World Tour calendar will be the Sintra Pro in Portgual at the end of August :)
Meanwhile, I have been making the most of the winter swells hitting around home. So sick! Scored some amazing waves, and got lucky with some photographers in the water getting awesome shots, plus was included in "Le Boogie" magazine's helicopter photo shoot at a sick left hand reef break! Those pics will be in mags in the coming months :) Here's a couple of frame grabs from one wave of mine:

Made it! ;) Scored some pretty sick waves that day.

I also got some awesome footage with my GoPro HD helmet camera a few
days before that at a right. So many barrels :) Here's a grab from that footage:
I shall be collecting my footage together for another online video :)

Ohhh, I also ran a WBA event at Cronulla on May 22. Such a fun day. So good to see the girls, had a few new faces joining in the fun and had a good surf with everyone.  Here's the article :) >>>>> http://emeraldsurfshop.blogspot.com/2011/05/wba-event-one-2011-cronulla-beach.html

Well I made it to Hawaii!!
First event on the world tour -The IBA Pipeline Pro, Feb 15-25th 2011.
I was stoked to receive one of three wildcards on offer to the girls in the main event, which automatically put me into the round of 16 :)
Unfortunately, despite of months of training, boxing, running, stretching, surfing heaps, breath training, mental preparation, and practice at Pipe, things just didn't come together for me in the contest. The surf was terrible, Pipe just didn't look like Pipe; 3ft and onshore. I finished at =13th :(
Really disappointed with my loss, but learned a valuable lesson, to be more adaptable to any conditions. I needed to surf Pipe like a 3ft beachie that day, not like a 6ft barrelling reef which is what I was expecting.
Anyway, after I got over my loss, I had a good trip and enjoyed my time in Hawaii... Did some media for Milkshakes and the IBA world tour. Check out my Milkshakes Hawaii Dairy!
I am feeling excited now to move on to the next event -Brazil! Set to begin May 27. It is another event with big points for the 2011 Womens World Tour, and I'm keen to do better than last year (9th), and win this thing!
